JavaScript has been my daily language since the days of document.write and browser sniffing. I’ve ridden every wave of it — DHTML, the module pattern, jQuery, Node on the server, Vue on the front end, and today’s typed, module-first tooling — and it remains the fastest route I know from an idea to working software.
